Taxi information desks are located in the arrival halls of all five terminals at Heathrow. Here you can obtain further information on journey prices, prepay by credit or debit card and get assistance in locating the taxi ranks as well as other useful airport information. This is the only place you can pick up an official licensed London taxi. The taxi ranks work on a first come first served basis and are manned with assistance staff to help you get on your way as quickly and safely as possible.		There are many road lanes in and around central London which can only be used by taxis and buses, this means the fastest possible journey time for you. Taxis are available 24/7 so you never have to wait and they will take you door to door, meaning you can relax and enjoy the ride.		Taxis are good value for money with the average fare into central London being £50/55 on the meter, and if 3 or more people travel, we are usually cheaper door to door.
