Our world famous London Taxis offer you a spacious, convenient and accessible form of transport to any destination you choose. They are available 24 hours a day every day of the year and provide a complete door to door service for up to 5/6 passengers (depending on vehicle type). Heathrow Taxis is the only approved taxi transport provider for Heathrow Airport and Heathrow Airport Limited recommend you only use our official taxi information desks situated in the arrivals hall of each terminal or the official taxi ranks outside each terminal.

All taxis are fitted with a wheelchair ramp and an extensive range of access features, including easy grip, hi-contrast handles for people with visual impairment, a hearing loop and a swivel seat. Service dogs may travel in taxis at no extra charge and all drivers (providing they do not have a medical condition, which prevents them) will provide assistance with luggage and entry into the taxi.

Taxi information desks are located in the arrival halls of all terminals at Heathrow. Here you can obtain further information on journey prices, prepay by credit or debit card and get assistance in locating the taxi ranks as well as other useful airport information. Official taxi ranks are located outside each of the terminal buildings. This is the only place you can pick up an official licensed London taxi. The taxi ranks work on a first come first served basis and are manned with assistance staff to help you get on your way as quickly and safely as possible.
